Torwyn Hill Choir

The Torwyn Hill Choir will be a mini-version of the Pennsic Choir experience. We will rehearse for 1 hour daily beginning Sunday August 2nd through Thursday August 6th (1-2pm), with a dress rehearsal and final concert on Friday August 7th (rehearsal 6-6:40pm, concert 6:45-7pm). If you love to sing and want to explore historical part-singing, come join us for the week and lets make some music together!

No experience necessary, no audition, sight-singing and reading music not required, we will learn the music together through the week, you’ll be surprised how quickly it comes together. Rehearsals and repertoire are geared to adult singers, but youth singers 12+ are welcome in the company of parent singers. Rehearsals and concert will be held in the picnic shelter. Unlimited class size.

Bring a writing implement, we'll be making notes as we go, dynamics, enunciation, lyrics adjustments, verses to include or omit, etc. For those who would find it helpful, I am happy to provide a folder of all the sheet music we’ll use throughout the week arranged in performance order for $4, or you can put together your own folder to bring to class for free. Pre-registration not required, but strongly recommended if you want a premade music folder to ensure there are enough copies.
